Abstract: The objetive of the present investigation was to study the production of ethanol in different variants: Kluyveromyces marxianus libre and Saccharomyces cerevisiae 150 libre immobilized and Saccharomyces cerevisiae immbobilized in manganese ferrite to particles coated with chitosan (NPMQ) from molasses and cane juice. The nanostructured support was obtained by co-precipitation in the presence of chitosan with subsequent hydrothermal treatment.
