Abstract: Foodborne illness is a public health problem due to the increase in cases caused by bacteria. Among the causes of this increase in cases is the increased resistence of these bacteria to antimicrobial compounds. Therefore, it is necessary to search for alternative methods for the treatment and reduction of these diseases. The use of bacteriophages is a viable alternative that specifies great adventages.
